FIR registered in Hathras satsang incident, but not Baba's name, only main sevadar's name

On Tuesday, 121 devotees were killed in a stampede at a satsang in Uttar Pradesh's Phulrai village of Hathras. So more than 30 people have been injured. In this case, the police have registered an FIR against the chief servant Dev Prakash and unknown persons. But questions are also being raised on this police FIR. Because the name of Bhole Baba who conducted satsang is not included in it.

Permission was taken for only 80 thousand people

According to officials, permission was sought to organize the satsang, but permission was sought from the police for the participation of only 80,000 devotees. Pursuant to which the administration had arranged arrangements at the place. More than 2.5 lakh devotees attended the satsang on Tuesday. The organizers hid the number of devotees from the police. But even that is being questioned, as the event was being planned since morning and how could the police not see the crowd of 2.5 lakh people.

People exposed the administrative machinery

After this accident, the arrangements of the police and the administration were revealed. The policemen appeared helpless during the stampede. When the bodies started arriving at the trauma center in Hathras, there was no arrangement. A devotee said that when he went to the trauma center, only a junior doctor and a pharmacist were present. The CMO was also not present. He reached the hospital an hour and a half later. Initially, doctors were giving first aid to the injured on stretchers. He was referred if the condition was serious.

The accident happened around 2 am. When Bhole Baba began to depart after the end of the satsang, devotees came forward to touch the dust at his feet. Then the shoving started. People started falling over each other. There was a stampede. There was a marshy ground near the place, many people were stuck here. Many people fell into the mud. Many women fainted.

'Baba's servants did not cooperate'

According to the police, while the stampede was taking place at the venue, the sevadar and the organizers were watching silently. No one cooperated. Then one by one they slipped away. The police themselves took the injured to the hospital. PM Modi and CM Yogi have expressed grief over this tragedy. CM Yogi has ordered an inquiry into the accident. A team of senior officials has been formed for this. This team consists of DIG rank officers.

There was a stampede after the satsang ended

Excessive heat and humidity are also said to be the cause of the accident. A devotee said that he had come to listen to satsang since 8 am. But in the afternoon it started to become extremely hot and humid. The devotees just wanted the satsang to end and go home. As soon as the satsang was over, people started running to come out. Then they started pushing each other. In the meantime, there was a stampede.

Meanwhile, the Agra administration has banned Bhole Baba's satsang. This satsang was to be held on July 4. The organizers had also made preparations for this. Permission was also taken from the Deputy District Magistrate. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered an inquiry into the accident. A police official said the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
