Mahakaleshwar Ujjain : On one side the ride of Mahakal...then on the other side will be the sound of 1500 Damru, when will we see this sight in Ujjain?

Sawan 2024 : Although many world records have been set in the religious city of Ujjain so far, one such world record will be set on 5 August 2024 during the third ride of Baba Mahakal. For which the administration has already started preparations. Preparations are already underway for this world record. Where will the event be held, how many artists will participate and where will the artists come from? A committee has also been constituted by the Collector to determine their number.

Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav himself will be present

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is constantly busy making the ride of Baba Mahakal more grand in the month of Shravan-Bhadrava. A 350-member police band performed for the first time in this ride, along with folk dances in the two rides of Baba Mahakal taken out so far, but the third ride of Shravan month is scheduled to be taken out on 5 August 2024. Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav himself will be present. A world record is going to be made on this day.

Bhopal to Damru Vadano will join this ride

It is said that this world record will be something unique. During this world record, Damru which is very dear to Lord Shiva will be played. For which a large number of Damru players will reach Ujjain not only from Ujjain but also from Bhopal.

This is happening for the first time

It may be remembered that the world record of playing 1500 damarus simultaneously is going to be held for the first time in the city. While Damru is very dear to Baba Mahakal. Riding Baba Mahakal on one side and worshiping Baba Mahakal by playing Damru on the other… This type of event will be a real sight for Shiva devotees on the third Monday of Shravan. It is said that on this day the officials of the World Record Team will be present and this presentation will last for about 10 minutes.

A bhajan group will also be included

During this world record playing of Damru, along with artists from Ujjain and Bhopal, bhajan groups will also be included in the ride of Baba Mahakal. Ujjain DM Neeraj Kumar Singh said, We have set the target of Damru Wadan, for which we have also started preparations.

A committee has been formed, which will decide the venue of the event, the maximum number of Damru players who will participate, and how the Damru will be played along with and during the ride.
